As a young girl, I loved to color, draw and make arts and crafts. I guess you could say I was born with a flare for the arts. In high school, I started to study art more seriously. Drawing started to take on new meaning for me and became a passion of mine. I chose to study art in college and dreamed of becoming a Graphic Artist. That dream held true until I became a volunteer at a shelter for battered women and children. It was there that I discovered my purpose in life...to help others. My life plan quickly changed direction.
In 1999, I earned my Masters Degree in Social Work and chose to concentrate on helping children. While working with foster children, pre-schoolers and at-risk youth, I relied on my creativity to help them learn new coping skills and make positive changes. It was truly amazing to see how powerful and life altering the creative process could be.
In 2002, I met the love of my life, Pete. Before I knew it, Pete and I were engaged and planning the wedding of our dreams. I loved adding all of our "personal touches" to our special day. It was during this time that I started to imagine one day owning a business. I dreamed of using my creativity to help others celebrate their special life moments.

We were just newlyweds when we found out that we were going to be blessed with a child. Talia Marie was born and changed our lives forever. Our life took on new meaning once we became a family. I chose to become a stay-at-home mom, and while Talia napped, I started creating a scrapbook for her about her first year of life. I filled the pages with big events like her first birthday and silly moments: like the time she fell asleep in her highchair with her little fingers tightly gripping a Cheerio. While I had been scrapbooking for years, this hobby quickly grew into something more. I realized that I was creating a legacy for Talia that would be passed down from one generation to the next. I immediately began to envision a way to help others treasure their fondest memories and celebrate their blessings.
